TRAVEL & ACCOMODATIONS

FLIGHTS

If air travel is necessary, the closest airport to the Kiawah River is Charleston International Airport (CHS). The Charleston airport is easy to navigate, and ride share options are readily available. It is approximately a 60-minute drive to The Dunlin, so please plan accordingly!

If you are staying at The Dunlin, shuttles will be provided between the hotel and the event space for Friday and Saturday nights. If you are staying on Kiawah, transportation will be provided to/from The Andell Inn and our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. Please check back here for more details on specific timing and pick-up locations closer to our wedding date.

The Andell Inn on Kiawah Island

Although we do not have an official room block here, you will receive 5% off when using the link below to book. The Andell Inn is approximately an 8-minute drive from Kiawah River, and the only other hotel property in this close proximity.

Transportation will be provided to/from the Andell Inn and The Dunlin for Saturday's events.

Rental Houses on Kiawah Island

There are beautiful rental properties available on Kiawah Island, just a short drive away.

Transportation will not be provided for individual rental houses, so we recommend planning accordingly!

Rental Houses at Kiawah River

There are also beautiful rental properties and bungalows within the Kiawah River community, just a stones throw away from The Dunlin.

Transportation will not be provided for individual rental houses, but rentals are likely within walking distance within this community.

QUESTIONS

WHERE EXACTLY WILL THE EVENTS BE HOSTED?

All of the events for our wedding weekend will be hosted at The River Barns at The Dunlin. The River Barns, or event spaces, are a short drive away from The Dunlin main lobby, and can be found on the lefthand side of the road if you are heading toward the hotel. There are indicators on the side of the road directing you to "The River Barns", and the specific address is 1030 Sound Dr., Johns Island, SC 29455.

WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?

Yes! Please bring a light jacket just in case there is cool weather on the day! Heaters will also be provided if needed.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED TO THE CEREMONY?

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend is going to be adults-only.

WHAT TIME DOES THE CEREMONY START?

Please feel free to arrive anytime between 4:00pm - 4:30pm to take your seats for the ceremony. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

We kindly ask that there are no phones and cameras during our wedding ceremony.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes, there is parking available at The River Barns at The Dunlin where our ceremony and reception will be held for those who wish to drive themselves.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?

If you are staying at The Dunlin, shuttles will be provided between the hotel and the event space for Friday and Saturday night events. If you are staying on Kiawah, transportation will be provided to/from The Andell Inn for Saturday's events only. Please check back here for more details on specific timing and pick-up locations closer to our wedding date.

For those staying in rental houses or hotels elsewhere, we recommend on planning accordingly! Ride share options are also available to/from Downtown Charleston.

HOW CAN I RSVP?

You should expect to receive a formal invitation in the mail in the second half of 2025 with instructions on how to RSVP.

CAN I BRING A +1?

Please reference your invitation for any information on a plus one.
